SAORI weaving ~ weaving from the heart ~ which is a form of freestyle weaving founded by Misao Jo in Osaka, Japan. It encourages free expression of self without judgement and rules. SAORI embraces all ages and all abilities.

LAURA ROVEDA SAORI WEAVING
The workshop will be held at Laura’s studio in Sherman Oaks on both Sunday and Monday for people to use her looms and produce a woven fabric. She can take 6 people per day and participants can sign up for one day or both.
Come and play with color and texture and reconnect with your creative soul.
Laura will provide fibers to you on the day of the workshop which you will purchase by weight at the end of the day.
Workshop fee: Members pay: $70 prior to Feb. 18, $75 on the day of the WAC General Meeting, Feb. 18 and the day of the workshop Feb. 19 & 20. Non-member fee $80.You have the option of paying at the workshop or mailing Rita Kreiger a check made out to WAC.Email click here for Rita's email address.
